The owners desired a green area adjacent to their one-store building with gym and indoor swimming pool.
The area is a long and narrow rectangle, which, due to its urban setting, enjoys few hours of sunlight.
A high tree hedge has been planted to hide the nearby buildings, while the irregular and bare (because of the lack of light) turf has been replaced with gravel pavement.
Sphere-shaped yews mark the entrance to this area. In front of the building a wooden pavement can be used as solarium.
A long edge with a mix of herbaceous perennials, grasses and evergreen plants envelops the pavement and runs along the whole area.
